This vacuum works great, especially for the price. I am all for seaching for a good deal for a good product without spending a lot of money! I think everyone needs to practice this concept! I think it is crazy that you actually could pay up to 600.00 for a vacuum!!! Seriously?? That could be an all-inclusive weekend trip to Cozumel! LOL
The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t work great on hard surfaces but does do great on carpet, which is where I really needed it most. All in all, I reccommend it!

I thought “The Help” was an amazing book! I don’t know if I can say I “enjoyed” it, as it was so disturbing to me. I am a born and raised New Yorker, and the attitudes displayed in this book are simply uniminaginable. I do know people thought and acted this way, but I find it upsetting! Since there ultimately is a kind of redemption in the book, and the “Help’s” stories are told, you can’t help but think it’s amazing!!

I’ve only had my iPod Touch for a few days, but I went right to work testing it

What’s in the box:
iPod Touch, of course.
USB cable/charger (requires adapters for wall or car charging)
earbuds
some paperwork that can hardly be called an instruction manual
dock adapter (no use to me, I don’t have a dock)

First thing to do is charge your iPod, which you can do with an AC wall outlet if you’ve bought the accessory kit that is recommended alongside this product. http://www.amazon.com/Charger-Silicone-Reusable-Protector-Generation/dp/B001JP8T9Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1282110968&sr=8-2 But you might as well connect it to your computer because you’ll want to download the latest software (iOS 4) from Apple and sync it up with your music, photos, etc. The iOS 4 is free and it is a major improvement regarding the organization of your apps/utilities and playlists. It might also be a good idea to set up password protection (under settings) so if someone grabs your iPod, they can’t do too much damage with your email or shopping or whatever. Then personalize it however you like!

The engineering that has gone into this little machine is amazing. The screen is gorgeous, with vibrant colors,and it is big enough to see what you’re doing and small enough that the unit is still very portable. Really, the size is perfect. The basic capabilities of multi-touch are very intuitive and the rest you already know if you’ve ever watched a commercial for iPod touch. Tilt, rotate, pinch (in/out), touch and hold, touch and drag, that sort of thing. Even my 6 year old can do it.

The sound quality without the stereo headphones is so-so, but I wasn’t even expecting to hear anything without headphones. It does have a built-in speaker. But the headphones improve the sound a hundred fold. There’s even an equalizer where you can specify what type of music you’re listening to and the iPod adjusts accordingly. I have had the Kindle for 4 months and am very disappointed, I have had to purchase books in paper back because the new releases are not availiable to me on the Kindle. I pre-order my book waited for 2 months and was sent a Email that it is not availiable on the Kindle and this has happened 2 times. I have to say that I will not recommend this to my friends and I have purchased the Sony on recommendation of friends that it was better and had a larger selection of books that I am interested in. The Office Home and Student is perfect for what I needed. I have had Office before and never used the Publishing or other parts of the full package. I believe that this is the perfect blend of programs that fit my needs and at a lower price point. Some of the new features in the Windows Word and Excel are worth the upgrade.

This is a great quality, well-constructed product. I went hiking w/ it and because I had the phone facing out in the holster(you must have the phone facing in for it to stick) it fell down the mountain about 30′ tumbling like a cart-wheel. I cussed like a truck driver and ran after it. NOT A SCRATCH. Not a one. Looks-wise it’s a little too bulky for me, but what do you expect? THE BULK IS WHAT GIVES YOU THE PROTECTION! The photo is w/o the holster so it looks less bulky. See the white version for the full effect. It’s PERFECT for outdoors stuff, blue-collar people, military, law enforcement, etc. Having said that, I do only use it for outdoors stuff because the bulk is a little unattractive. Again, it’s supposed to be bulky. People keep complaining about it falling out of the holster. It’s in backwards, you MUST turn the phone inwards for it to stick. Some people have complained about the belt clip breaking. If you call Otterbox they’ll replace it and you can order the clip replacement here on Amazon. To avoid “greasiness” forming on the inside of the clear screen, just buy a scratch-resistant touch-screen cover for the phone itself. It’s non-sticky and you can’t even tell it’s on there! If you aren’t an outdoorsmen, blue-collar, etc. and just can’t get over the bulk I suggest the Case Mate Signature Premium Leather here at Amazon as well. I use that 90% of the time. I’ve had many “Iphone friends” compliment its looks and have wound up purchasing it themselves. Nice leather sturdy belt clip that doesn’t fall off and the leather phone case just looks sharp as hell. Had no problems w/ that one either.
