This brush works really well. It definitely is a “deshedding tool”. It is a little of a pain that I have to stop every 3-4 strokes to collect the hair to stick it in a bag or trash can otherwise clumps of hair get all over the place. There would be clumps floating around in my backyard. But then again I guess that means that it is getting all the loose hair out.

I have used this product on my entire house once so far. It took a long time, but worked great. Although I didn’t see a huge difference in the carpet,(I keep it pretty clean anyway) the water was filthy. The carpet dried very quickly. I made sure to go over a few times with the suction so the carpet wouldn’t stay wet too long. It seemed to dry within a half hour to an hour. I also used it on a spill and the spill was gone instantly.
