Kingston Kit Apple 2GB and you

Does this work for a Apple MacBook Pro 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (15.4-inch) Laptop/Notebook? I have a 15 inch screen and the specs for the ram module don’t include that size screen. yet everywhere I look it lists this particular ram module as appropriate.

Does Apple touch iPod 8 really work?

The iPod Touch is a great product. No question about it. I like almost everything about the Touch, the size, picture quality, sound quality, etc…My only complaint is that you can surf the web, but you cannot listen to the Internet Radio stations because there’s no media player built in. If I could listen to the Internet Radio and the storage capacity is increased in the future, this could be a perfect product.

You know about 3gs 3g Iphone Apple

This is a first class piece of equipment. I have not had one problem with it. I like being able to use the same GPS no matter which bike I am riding or if I want to walk. I like the software that comes with the unit. It will even connect you to Google Earth to let you see where you have been.

Battery Laptop Apple M8626 no mad

I must admit, I wish that I read this book for the first time while I was in high school. It would have been a great book to read in school, too – I definitely would have preferred to read this over some of the other assigned books. It would have been a lot of fun to discuss. And it really is amazing just how timeless this book is, I mean, for the most part, it feels like this could have been published this year. It just feels very fresh and modern, which I suppose is one of the tell-tale signs of a true classic novel. I didn’t really know what to expect from the book, and I did really enjoy reading it. I will say, though, I read somewhere that there is a window of opportunity to read this book, and that if you read it when too young, or too old, you lose the book’s full power, and I can definitely see how that statement is true. Still, Holden Caulfield is a great character, but I would have liked him even more if I had been introduced to him at a younger age.

This my second Omron HJ-112 Digital pocket pedometer. I would still be on my first one but I washed it. My husband dried it out and it still works but I wanted a new one. I love knowing how many steps I complete each day.

MA711LL A Apple TV result

I’m a huge Apple fan, but fail to see the use of this product. The way I see it, it’s a $250 TV-out cable. If you have a TV-out cable and Itunes then you have a cheaper, smarter Apple TV. If you really want to make it wireless: buy a wireless mouse and keyboard: cheaper and can at least be used for something else.

I like the idea of having youtube, but: you can still get that on TV-out + you won’t have to spend 3 min every time you want to make a search on the Apple TV remote; also most youtube videos really don’t look that good on a widescreen TV…

Apple TV CAN be great…I will re-purchase one if Apple does the following (i.e. upgrade it from just a TV-out cable):

1. Apple TV has a hard disk + WiFi…yet you can’t use it as a hard drive…why not combine Apple TV + Time Capsule?

2. TiVo doesn’t cost as much! Why don’t they make it as a DVR + transfer other way around to Itunes!

3. You can’t sync and stream from the same computer?? that’s too much!

Just my opinion…I returned mine today.

MB535LL Apple Pro Mac watch out

I owned a PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0 Ghz before the video card died. I use two cinema HD monitors and the AGP cards are hard to find for that older model. I am not a super power user so I seldom encode heavy duty video. I am a light user of Aperture and Photoshop. Trying to do light video and photo editing on my G5 was not painfully slow but the computer was showing its age. Typical tasks took a while; I would walk away and sometimes come back an hour later. The G5 was loud and hot. The ATI x800 XT was a noisy and a buggy video card. When I opened my new Mac Pro I was wondering if I should have bought last year’s dual quad processor (2.8 Ghz) instead of the new Nehalem single processor (2.6 Ghz). The prices were pretty close. The 2009 model has more RAM and a bigger hard drive. Rest assured this new machine is no slouch. I am not sure how many professional Mac users use Mac Pros and how many get by with the Macbook Pro; but, I think that if high end professionals can use a laptop with a dual core processor then I certainly should be OK with a single Quad core processor. I ordered mine with a second NVIDIA GT 120 video card. This way I have two Dual Link DVI ports and two Mini DisplayPorts. Remember, the standard computer ships with a single video card that offers only one Dual Link DVI port. The other port is Apple’s Mini DisplayPort which works only with Apple’s new 24 inch glossy display. The adapter needed to plug in any other monitor (think 30 inch Cinema HD) into the Mini DisplayPort is a ridiculous $100. After buying this adapter, there is no guarantee it will work!!! Hence, I just bought an extra video card. The case is a breeze to work with. I slipped in the video card without any screwdriver or tools. My old hard drive went into the second slot tray (I did need a screwdriver to fasten the hard drive to the tray). The hard drive trays are side by side and pull out like a drawer. No wires, no broken fingernails, no bloody knuckles. RAM can be added and swapped o

Why must AirPort Extreme Apple Base

It hurt to pay so much, but I had the feeling that getting the Airport Extreme Base Station would save me time and headaches when trying to share broadband between a PC and Mac.

I was successful with this platform/OS/equipment combination:Apple M8930LL/A Airport Extreme Base StationMac: OS 10.1.5, Apple Airport CardPC: Win2000 Pro, NetGear MA101 Wireless USB Adapter

Plugged an ISP-provided DSL modem into the Base Station and configured the Base Station using the Mac. (Had no success with Apple’s Airport Admin config software for the PC.)

Then plugged in the NetGear MA101 on the PC, installed the software from CD, and configured the settings to match the Mac security.

I got strong signal strength and throughput from both the NetGear MA101 and the Airport Card in a three story house.40-bit WEP works fine. 128-bit is occasionally a little buggy on the PC, requiring me to temporarily reset both platforms to 40-bit.

Haven’t tried setting up file sharing yet, but will attempt the USB printer connection on the Base Station. (Caution, check Apple.com/airport for list if approved USB printers that will work with the Base Station. Also, this USB printer feature supposedly requires the Mac to run OS 10.2.3+)

I wish the Airport Base Station manual had more scenario details and suggestions how to tailor your WAN configuration. I spent a lot of time searching the Apple BBS regarding questions I think should have been covered in the manual.

Overall, the Airport Extreme Base Station is a thing of beauty to look at, relatively easy to configure — but I’m scared to death of someone knocking it to the floor.
