Bought the unit Christmas last year. Family has played it maybe 20-30 hours and now disc failure.
Ta Da! In to the shop for repairs. The cost is not outrageous just disappointed that for $500.00 bucks in unit and games
and accessories this is the disc life on this one.
I know it’s an inexpensive console but we’re not talking Xbox 360 either. Just a simple format player.

I have had the Kindle for 4 months and am very disappointed, I have had to purchase books in paper back because the new releases are not availiable to me on the Kindle. I pre-order my book waited for 2 months and was sent a Email that it is not availiable on the Kindle and this has happened 2 times. I have to say that I will not recommend this to my friends and I have purchased the Sony on recommendation of friends that it was better and had a larger selection of books that I am interested in. Ew. This is perhaps the largest WASTE of money I have ever seen. The graphics are crap, the contols are crap, and the games are crap. Birthday Party Games exclusive to Wii! Carnival Games exclusive to Wii!!!! Any respectable video gamer should never even THINK about buying this piece of crap. The only good game I have played on it is Metroid Prime 3, and if that game never came about, I would be giving this system 1 star. The graphics are an absolute DISGRACE. This thing was released 2 YEARS after Xbox 360 (great graphics), and the Miis (kind of like Xbox Avatars) don’t even have arms or legs!!! WiiSports is ridiculously wrong, seeing as in baseball the mii does not even run to 1st base until the ball is either caught or hit out of reach. Next gen console?! THATS BS!!!! The only thing that makes it anything like a nextgen console is the menu, which is wortless anyway. To be fully convinced, play the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the Xbox 360 or PS3 and then play it on the Wii and you’ll see what I mean. They had to make 2 different versions of the game because the Wii has practically no processing power. Another game issued by the same company, LucasArts, called Fracture was released only on Xbox and PS3. Someone on the internet asked why and a LucasArts official said Wii doesn’t have the processing power. That’s an absolute load of crap. Wii was released 2 YEARS after Xbox!!! Oh my god, what is wrong with you Nintendo?!!!! There is no multiplayer service, and I know some Wii fanboy is gonna come arguing to me that “You can connect your wii to Wi-Fi”, but that is no multiplayer. The only game I’ve come across that has ANY ABILITY WHATSOEVER to play people online is freaking MARIO KART!!!! The controls are absolute garbage. Theres only 1 joystick!!!! What?!!! Just about every gaming system I’ve ever PLAYED has 2. And the motions idea is stupid. They are waaaayyyy too sensitve. Wii MotionPlus only makes it worse. Do not buy this. Holden Caulfield has just been kicked out, yet again, of a preparatory school which his father, a hot-shot corporate lawyer, has selected for him. Holden is a pathological lawyer, he smokes like crazy, and he prefers the peak of his brand-new red hunting cap to be facing backward, not forward. Holden begins wandering around New York City, buying time before the date comes when his parents will be expecting him.

Such are the plot details, and the wonderful character painting, that this wonderful little novel unveils early in its course. The Catcher is a fast-paced and an easy read, two qualities which typically don’t go along with works of literature. Is the Catcher a work of literature? The answer is an unqualified yes. Salinger has accomplished an amazing feat by relaying his story through the first-person narrative of our protagonist, and the writing is complete with Holden’s idiosyncratic jargon and constant lacings of profanity. Yet what makes the writing so remarkable is that we know exactly what Holden is talking about it, even though his slang can be a little confusing at times.

Still, what makes this little gem a literary genius is not its exceptional writing, but its wide appealing cultural value. I think it would be immature and cliched to call this a “coming of age” book (even though it is one), or to talk about Holden’s prototypical “teenage angst”. In my opinion, this novel finds its far-reaching appeal because it speaks to the heart of us all. We all get discouraged (and even disgusted) by the faults that we see in society, and in human nature in general (for example, the “phoniness” which Holden sees as near ubiquitous). Nevertheless, all of us have to make decisions, just like Holden does, as to what direction we choose to walk in life.

A final note. I loved this book and found myself laughing out loud throughout many parts of the book. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t be surprised if this novel isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I suspect that some readers will

I bought this to use with my Garmin Nuvi. I drive a Ford Expedition. It has a big flat dashboard. This bean bag (portable friction mount) works perfectly! When not in use, I grab it and set it down on the console out of sight. When I need it again, I set it back up on the dash board. It stays where you put it even in a panic stop. It does NOT move at all. While it is just a bit bulky, it seems to be the right size/weight/design to do the job intended without any flaws. What more could you ask for?

I believe that this is the perfect blend of programs that fit my needs and at a lower price point. Some of the new features in the Windows Word and Excel are worth the upgrade.

I’ve had the steam cleaner for 6 months and have used it several times. We have 2 puppies so I am cleaning carpets quite often. I’ve had no problems with it leaking. In my opinion, I feel I get more dirt of the carpet if I boil the water on the stove and then pour into the water tank.

My husband told me to get a steam cleaner years ago but instead I would rent the rug doctor and/or have my carpets professionally cleaned. My husband was right (I have told him this several times and he just smiles). I’ve saved a ton of money and have found I actually like cleaning the carpets. It does a great job and I like clean carpets.
